Through the Kedaranathdham Charitable Foundation, funded by the CSR initiative of Cargo Marketing International Pvt. Ltd. a sexual education activity titled “What is menstruation and how to deal with it?” was conducted. Miss Jagruti Patil from the health department provided guidance on this topic. Miss Patil explained that menstruation is a natural biological process where blood and tissue from the uterus are shed through the vagina, typically occurring once a month. She emphasized the importance of understanding menstrual hygiene and managing symptoms effectively. She also discussed various menstrual hygiene products and their proper usage. The session aimed to educate young girls and their parents about menstruation, breaking the stigma and encouraging open conversations. Miss Patil highlighted the importance of a balanced diet, regular exercise, and maintaining good hygiene during menstruation. She also provided tips on dealing with common menstrual issues such as cramps and mood swings. The event was attended by the educational institution’s teacher, Mrs. Patil, Miss Gayatri Chavan, and several mothers and parents. The initiative aimed to empower young girls with knowledge and confidence to manage their menstrual health effectively.
